Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the predisposition of university students being educated in health services vocational school to physical education course according to certain variables. In the study, “The Physical Education Predisposition Scale” which was adapted to Turkish by Erbaş, Ünlü and Kalemoğlu-Varol (2015) and “Personal Information Form” created by the researchers were used as data collection tools. The questionnaire form was applied to 212 students who studied at Yozgat Bozok University Vocational School of Health Services and volunteered to participate in this study and in this way, research data was obtained. Since data are fit to normal distribution, parametric statistical methods are preferred in the analysis of data. In this context, independent samples t-test was used to investigate the difference between two groups, and one-way analysis of variance (Oneway ANOVA) was used to examine the difference between more than two groups. Tukey multiple comparison test was used in order to determine the groups where the difference was caused by variance analysis. According to the findings, it was determined that there was a significant difference in terms of general predisposition and sub-dimensions of physical education course among students of Health Services Vocational School according to certain variables and no significant difference according to gender.
