Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the researches based on the usage of the assessment and evaluation techniques by teachers according to the determined criteria. In this research on which based survey model, basic principles of document analysis have been adopted. 82 theses which were published between 2005-2018 in National Thesis Center were examined. According to the findings, it was found that the studies including teachers' opinions were at the forefront as research subjects; and most of the publications were made between 2008-2010. It has been determined that the studies are centered upon in Marmara, Gazi and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart universities and most of the studies are carried out in social sciences and educational sciences institutes. In surveys where quantitative and mixed methods are more preferred, survey and interview technique are mostly use data collection tools. It was determined that as the sample groups, with classroom teachers, preservice teachers, social studies and science teachers were mostly studied; in the analysis of the data, t-test, anova, content and descriptive analysis techniques were used extensively. It is considered that the findings will clear up the researches that will be done in the future.
