Abstract

Having started publishing activities in 1958, Hilal Journal entered publication life as Religious, Scientific, Political, Monthly Journal. The journal which has changed its name periodically, but could not remain indifferent to social and political events and has tried to explain all events depending on the religion and Islam, has carried out its publishing in this scope. The journal, which transforms the religious approach into an ideology, is one of the most active Islamic journals in translation activities in that period. The idea that the journal attaches importance to the translation activities and with these translations, the Journal has a purpose like spreading a certain ideology and created the need to analyze the translation activities and politics. The aim of this study is to reveal that Hilal Journal carries out translation activities in the direction of a certain goal and ideology and to prove that it has carried out translation of policy and ideological translation with the influence of the political movements of the period.
