Abstract
Osmanlı Devleti’nin son döneminde, suçları takip edebilmek ve faillere dair bilgileri toplu halde görebilmek maksadıyla tutulan suç cetvellerinden birisi olan “ceraim-i umumiye cetvelleri”nde, faillere dair nitelikli bilgiler yer almaktadır. Faillerin medeni durumları, mükerrer suçlular, faillerin mesleki durumları, tabi oldukları milliyet, okur yazarlık durumları, yaş aralıkları ve suçu nerede ve ne için işlediklerine dair veriler içeren bu istatistik cetvelleri, toplumun genel durumunu suçlular üzerinden görmemize imkan vermektedir. Bu çalışma dahilinde, Birinci Dünya Savaşı’nın hemen öncesinde, üç semavi din tarafından kutsal kabul edilen Kudüs’te meydana gelen öldürme ve öldürmeye teşebbüs suçları, ceraim-i umumiye cetvellerinin bize sunduğu bilgiler ışığında, incelenmeye çalışılacaktır.

Abstract
In the last period of Ottoman Empire, there are eligible informations about perpetrators in one of crime schedules named as “general crime schedules” that was maintaned to follow crimes and see batch informations about perpetrators. These statistical schedules allows the general situation of the society to be see through the marital status, duplicate criminals, occupational status, nationality, literacy status, age ranges of perpetrators, where and why the crime committed. In this study, just before the World War 1, the homicide and homicidal attempt crimes in Jerusalem accepted by three monotheistic religions as holy, are tried to be examined through the information provided by general crime schedules.
