Politic Cartoons In The Context Of 2014 Presidential Elections: The Example Of Sabah - Cumhuriyet And Akit Newspapers
Cartoons one of the most effective methods of explaining news, ideas and acquisitions carry through managing society and routing function. As parallel to this function; the study within the scope of 2014 Presidential Elections contains that evaluations of the Sabah, Cumhuriyet and Akit newspapers through cartoon drawings of politic candidates for the presidency. The study also includes political presentations of the cartoons related to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu and Selahattin Demirtaş who candidates for the presidency of the relevant newspapers between 10 July and 10 August 2014.The newspapers presented all the related cartoons as home page cartoons during this period.
