Rubric As An Assesment Instrument Within Interpreting Studies
One of the most important steps is to determine assesment criterias and form the construct so as to create assesment tool in interpreting studies. The structure of assesment should be designed in accordance with the competencies and abilities that are measured by the person who assesses. This task involves not only naming the ability, knowledge or behavior that is being assessed but also involves breaking that knowledge, ability or behavior into the elements that formulate a construct (Fulcher2003) and can be captured and measured by a rubric. Provided that translation competence and its components are taken into consideration that is universally accepted within the academic field of interpreting studies, this assesment method “rubric”has the quality to applicable. Instead of that there is a rubric that can capture diffrent levels of competency in interpreting studies, it could give information about how to define interpreting competence and exactly how its constituent elements are to be conceptualized, broken down, interconnected and measured. In this study will be used the rubric as an instrument in analysing and assessing interpreting competencies and will be studied the aptitude of rubric within that period. In this regard will be compared the acquired results.
