The structural impact of the nationalist movements in the world, which has caused many changes in the general sense in European countries, has also felt itself in social, economic, religious and different fields in the eastern societies with external interventions of foreign factions. In our study, the historical process of the concept of nationality, the formation of the idea of nationalism from the nation, and the examination of the influences of the local elements in Arab nationalism and the political and religious vanguard forces of the Western states. Although Arab nationalism is felt in many Arab countries throughout the study, ideas and trends developed in the name of Arab nationalism in Lebanon, including Syria in particular, will be examined.
