Ikhvaniyat; A Type of Document in the Munsheat Journals of Great Seljuks Empire Period
One of the resources of the historians who are studying Great Seljuks Period is Munsheat Journals. The existence of examples of Inshas of some important Munshis’ in these journals is very precious for the state organization history studies. On the other hand we know that there is a document type called Ikhvaniyat in the the Munsheat Journals of Great Seljuks Empire Period. For the fact that these documents have private content, they can open a new perspective for the historian. Because İkhvaniyat documents reveal the mentality and the sense of that age. They contain personal opinions and they make references to the ideas which were considered sin or negative.
