BERTOLT BRECHT’İN “ÜÇ KURUŞLUK OPERA” ADLI ESERİNİN TÜRKÇEYE AKTARIMINDAKİ DİLSEL ÖĞELERİN KÜLTÜREL BOYUTLARIYLA İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
Makalede Brecht’in Üç Kuruşluk Opera adlı eseri kaynak ve erek metin bağlamında incelenmiştir. Epik tiyatro örneği olan eserde deyimler, ikilemeler, argo ifadeler gibi dilsel öğelerin kültürel uyarlamasının nasıl yapıldığı analiz edilmiştir. Amaç, çeviri eseri, dilin sınırlarından kurtarıp dili yönlendirenin de temel de kültür olduğunu göstermek olduğu için eserde, eş değerlik düzeyinde bir inceleme yapılmamıştır; aksine kaynak metnin erek dil ve kültürde, ne kadar amaca yönelik ve işlevsel olduğu üzerinde durulmaya çalışılmıştır. Karşılaştırmalı yapılan incelemede elde edilen verilere göre, eser, çevirmen tarafından başarılı bir şekilde Türkçeleştirilmiştir. İki dil ve kültürü iyi bilen çevirmen, yer yer uyarlama stratejisinden yararlanmış ve eserdeki dilsel ve kültürel incelikleri aktarabilmiştir.

Abstract
In this study, Brecht's Three Penny Opera has been studied in the context of the source and target text. In this work as epic theater example are analyzed how cultural adaptation of linguistic items such as idioms, dilemmas, and slang expressions are realized. Since the aim is to show that the translation is the language and the language that guides the language is the culture as well, it has not been examined at the level of equivalence; On the contrary, it has been tried to focus on how purposeful and functional of the source text is in the target language and culture. According to the comparative analysis, the work has been successfully translated by the translator. The translator, who knows both languages and cultures well, has benefited from the adaptation strategy and has been able to translate the linguistic and cultural qualities of the work.
