ÇOCUK EDEBİYATI ESERLERİNDE TARİH SEVGİSİ VE KÜLTÜREL MİRASIN KORUNMASI: BİLGİN ADALI’NIN “KARİYE HAZİNESİ” ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract
Geçmiş, şimdi ve gelecek arasında bağ kurmayı sağlayan tarih, kurgusal metinlerle çocuk edebiyatına taşındığında çocukların öğrenme merakını ve araştırma isteğini arttırarak değer gelişimine katkıda bulunabilmektedir. Çocuklar, okudukları eserler yoluyla içinde yaşadıkları toplumun geçmişini, ülkelerinin zengin tarihsel mirasını tanıyarak onları koruma bilincine de sahip olmaktadırlar. Bu bağlamda Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı’nda yer alan “Millî Kültürümüz” teması işlenmesi zorunlu temalardan biridir ve bu başlık altında kültürel miras, şehirlerimiz, tarihî mekânlar, tarihî şahsiyetler, tarihî eserlerimiz gibi birçok önemli konuya yer verilmektedir. Bahsi geçen konular açısından değerlendirildiğinde Bilgin Adalı’nın Kariye Hazinesi adlı eserinin, Millî Kültürümüz temasının kazanımlarını destekleyecek nitelikte bir eser olduğu görülmüştür. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Bilgin Adalı’nın Kariye Hazinesi adlı eserinin hangi yönleriyle kültürel mirasa sahip çıkma değerine katkı sağladığını, eserde tarih sevgisinin nasıl işlendiğini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmış, çalışmanın verileri doküman incelemesi tekniği ile elde edilmiş, elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile yorumlanmıştır. İstanbul'un Fatih Sultan Mehmet tarafından fethedildiği günlerden kalma bir hazinenin peşine düşen bir grup çocuğun maceralarının anlatıldığı eser, doğrudan kültür varlıkları ve onları koruma konusunda bilgi veren kazanımlarla tarih, kültür ve miras öğrenme alanında farkındalık yaratmaktadır. Kariye Hazinesi’nde tarih sevgisi ve merakı da öğrencilerine kültür varlıklarının sahip olduğu değerler konusunda bilgi ve bilinç kazandırma hevesindeki idealist öğretmen Erdal karakteri üzerinden aktarılır. Eserde Erdal öğretmenin çocuklarla kurduğu ders içi ve ders dışı etkin iletişim biçimi, öğretim yöntemleri ve müze kültürü dikkat çekici diğer eğitimsel ögelerdir. Çalışma sonucunda eserin genç nesillerde tarih sevgisi ve merakı oluşturabilecek kültürel mirasın aktarılması ve korunması adına birçok unsura yer verdiği bulgusuna ulaşılmış ve bunlar örneklendirilmiştir. Bulgularda çocukların kültür varlıklarının nasıl yok olduğu ve nasıl korunabileceği konularında bilgilendirilmesi, müze kültürü, araştırma merakı gibi millî kimlik ve tarih bilinci oluşturulmasına katkı sağlayacak ve bu konuda farkındalık oluşturacak noktalar da tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
When history, which provides a link between the past, present and future, is transferred to children's literature with fictional texts, it can contribute to value development by increasing children's learning curiosity and research desire. Through the works they read, children become aware of the past of the society they live in and the rich historical heritage of their country, and they also have the awareness of protecting them. In this context, the theme of "Our National Culture" in the Turkish Language Curriculum is one of the mandatory themes to be covered, and many important subjects such as cultural heritage, our cities, historical places, historical figures, and our historical works are included under this title. When evaluated in terms of the aforementioned subjects, it has been seen that Bilgin Adalı's work named Kariye Hazinesi is a work that will support the achievements of the theme of our National Culture. The aim of this study is to reveal in which aspects Bilgin Adalı's work named Kariye Treasure contributes to the value of protecting the cultural heritage and how the love of history is processed in the work. Qualitative research method was used in the study, the data of the study were obtained by document analysis technique, and the obtained data were interpreted with content analysis. The work, which tells the adventures of a group of children who are chasing a treasure from the days when Istanbul was conquered by Fatih Sultan Mehmet, raises awareness in the field of learning history, culture and heritage, with gains that directly inform cultural assets and their preservation. In Kariye Hazinesi, his love and curiosity for history is conveyed through the character of Erdal, an idealist teacher who is eager to give his students knowledge and awareness about the values of cultural assets. In the work, the effective communication style, teaching methods and museum culture established by Erdal teacher with children in and out of the classroom are other educational elements that attract attention. As a result of the study, it has been found that the work includes many elements that can create a love and curiosity for history in young generations, in order to transfer and protect the cultural heritage, and these are exemplified. In the findings, points that will contribute to the formation of national identity and historical awareness, such as informing children about how cultural assets are destroyed and how they can be preserved, museum culture, research curiosity, and raise awareness on this issue have also been determined.
