Abstract
Önemli günlerde gerçekleştirilen etkinlikler bölgenin yerel, bölgesel, ulusal ve uluslararası anlamda tanıtımların yapılmasını sağlamakta, yerel imajı ve kalkınmayı olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada, kamu sektörü ve özel sektörün etkinliklere katkıları yerel halkın bakış açısıyla değerlendirilmektedir. Araştırma nicel bir araştırma olup, veri toplama tekniği olarak yüz yüze anket uygulanmıştır. Anket sorularını 392 kişi cevaplamıştır. Veriler SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Yerel halkın görüşleri anket ile yazılı olarak alındığı için, verilerin analizinde bir nitel araştırma tekniği olan “betimsel analiz” yöntemi ile nicel araştırma tekniklerinden olan yüzde (%) ve frekanslar kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, Isparta yerel halkının kamu ve özel sektörün etkinliklerine yönelik gerçekleştirmiş olduğu katkılar ile ilgili görüşlerine bakıldığında Isparta halkının yapılan etkinlikleri kamu kesimi açısından başarılı bulduğu, en çok etkinliklere katkısı olduğu düşünülen kesiminin ise üniversiteler olduğu görülmektedir. Ayrıca bu oranları özel sektörün etkilerinin olumlu olduğu yönündeki görüşler takip etmektedir.

Abstract
Events held on important days ensure promotions locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, positively affecting local image and development. In this study, the contributions of the public and private sectors to events will be evaluated from the perspective of the locals. The research is a quantitative research and in person survey has been applied as the data collection technique. 392 participants answered the survey questions. The data has been analysed using SPSS program. In conclusion, the opinions of Isparta locals about the contributions of public and private groups towards the event activities are revealed through descriptive analysis. Since the opinions of locals were taken by survey in written form, the descriptive analysis method, which is a qualitative research method, and the percentage (%) and frequencies, which are among the quantitative research techniques, were used in data analysis. As a result, considering the opinions of the local people of Isparta regarding the contributions of the public and private sector to the events, it is seen that the people of Isparta find the events successful in terms of the public sector, and the most important part that is considered to contribute to events are universities. In addition, these rates are followed by opinions that the effects of the private sector in events are positive.
