Abstract
Bu araştırma Kasım 2002’den bu yana yaklaşık yirmi yıllık bir süredir iktidarda bulunan Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi (AKP) milletvekillerinin tarihsel süreçte bazı demografik niteliklerini tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Kasım 2002’de yapılan erken seçimi kazanarak iktidara gelen Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi, sonraki dönemler olan 2007, 2011 seçimlerinde de tek başına iktidar olmayı başarmıştır. Parti, Haziran 2015 seçimlerinde tek başına hükümet kuracak parlamento çoğunluğu elde edememiş ancak Kasım 2015’te tekrarlanan seçimlerle yeniden tek başına iktidar olabilmiştir. 16 yıl aradan sonra ilk kez erkene alınan genel seçimler ise, 24 Haziran 2018’de cumhurbaşkanı ve milletvekili genel seçimleri birlikte yapılmasıyla gerçekleşmiştir. Bu araştırmada 2002, 2007, 2011, Haziran 2015-Kasım 2015 ve 2018 seçimlerinde milletvekili seçilerek parlamentoya giren Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi milletvekilleri çeşitli demografik profilleri yönünden karşılaştırmalı tarihsel bir analiz çerçevesinde irdelenmiştir.

Abstract
The present study aimed to determine some demographic characteristics of the Justice and Development Party (JDP) deputies, who have been in power for nearly twenty years since November 2002, in the historical process. The Justice and Development Party, which came to power after winning the early elections in November 2002, managed to come to power alone in the 2007 and 2011 elections. The party could not obtain a parliamentary majority to form a government on its own in the June 2015 elections, but it was able to come back to power alone with the elections that were repeated in November 2015. The general elections, which were delayed for the first time in 16 years, were held on June 24, 2018, with the general elections for the president and the deputy. In the present study, Justice and Development Party deputies, who were elected as deputies and entered the parliament in 2002, 2007, 2011, June 2015-November 2015, and 2018 elections, were examined in terms of various demographic profiles within the framework of comparative historical analysis.
