ORTAOKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİ İÇİN SINIF İÇİ SORU SORMAYA YÖNELİK TUTUM ÖLÇEĞİ: GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract
Bu araştırmada, ortaokul öğrencilerinin soru sormaya yönelik tutumlarını tespit edebilmek için geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda soru sorma ile ilgili öğrencilerin duygu ve düşünceleri alınarak 33 maddelik bir havuz oluşturulmuştur. Uzman görüşü sonrasında 28 maddeden oluşan beşli likert tipi taslak ölçek hazırlanmıştır. Taslak ölçek, 2022-2023 eğitim-öğretim yılında öğrenim gören 755 öğrenciye uygulanarak açımlayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Bu analiz sonucunda faktör yük değerlerinin .602 ile .758 arasında değiştiği, iki alt boyuttan ve 12 maddeden oluşan bir ölçme aracı geliştirilmiştir. Ölçeğin güvenirliği için Cronbach alfa iç tutarlık ve McDonald’s omega katsayıları hesaplanmıştır. Ölçeğin alt boyutlarının Cronbach alfa katsayı değerleri; birinci faktör için .811, ikinci faktör için .773’tür. McDonald’s omega katsayısı değerleri; birinci faktör için .812, ikinci faktör için .774’tür. Ölçeğin tamamı için Cronbach alfa katsayı değeri .773, McDonald’s omega katsayısı değeri ise .777’dir. 12 maddelik ölçek 319 ortaokul öğrencisine tekrar uygulanarak doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Bu analiz sonucunda modelin uygunluğuna ilişkin uyum değerleri χ²=91, df=52, χ2 / df değeri 1.75; RMSEA değeri 0.048; CFI değeri 0.964 ve SRMR değeri 0.051 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ölçeğin iç geçerliğini belirlemek için alt grup (%27) ve üst grup (%27) ortalamalarına yönelik bağımsız örneklemler t testi yapılmıştır. Yapılan t testi sonucu ölçekte bulunan maddelerin alt gruptaki öğrencilerle üst gruptaki öğrencileri anlamlı derecede ayırdığı görülmüştür (p<.05). Elde edilen sonuçlardan hareketle, ortaokul öğrencilerinin sınıf içi soru sormaya yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla geliştirilen bu ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir olduğu söylenebilir.

Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool in order to determine the attitudes of secondary school students towards asking questions. For this purpose, a pool of 33 items was created by asking the feelings and thoughts of the students about asking questions. After consulting an expert, a five-point Likert-type draft scale consisting of 28 items was prepared. The draft scale was applied to 755 students studying in the 2022-2023 academic year and exploratory factor analysis was performed. As a result of this analysis, a measurement tool consisting of two sub-dimensions and 12 items was developed, with factor loading values varying between .602 and .758. For the reliability of the scale, Cronbach alpha internal consistency and McDonald's omega coefficients were calculated. Cronbach alpha coefficient values of the sub-dimensions of the scale; .811 for the first factor and .773 for the second factor. McDonald's omega coefficient values; .812 for the first factor and .774 for the second factor. The Cronbach alpha coefficient value for the whole scale is .773, and the McDonald's omega coefficient value is .777. The 12-item scale was reapplied to 319 secondary school students and confirmatory factor analysis was performed with the data obtained. As a result of this analysis, the fit values for the fit of the model were χ²=91, df=52, χ2 / df value was 1.75; RMSEA value of 0.048; The CFI value was 0.964 and the SRMR value was 0.051. In order to determine the internal validity of the scale, independent samples t-test was conducted for the mean of the lower group (27%) and the upper group (27%). As a result of the t test, it was observed that the items in the scale significantly separated the students in the lower group from the students in the upper group (p < .05). Based on the results obtained, it can be said that this scale, which was developed to determine the in-class questioning attitudes of secondary school students, is valid and reliable.
