Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, Öğretmen Kariyer Basamaklarına yönelik öğretmen görüşlerini değerlendirmektir. Olgu bilim desini tercih edilerek Elazığ il merkezinde görev yapan 40 öğretmen araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Veri elde etmek için yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Bu formdaki sorular, literatür taraması ve öğretmenler ile yapılan görüşmeler sonucunda hazırlanmıştır. Elde edilen görüşler bilgisayar aktarılmış ve aktarılan görüşlere göre numaralar verilmiştir. Böylece öğretmen görüşleri, içerik analizi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, araştırmaya katılan öğretmenlerin kariyer basamaklarında ilerleyebilmek için şart koşulan hizmet yılı ve sınav sistemine yönelik olumsuz görüşlere sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmenler hizmet yılının düşürülmesi, değerlendirme aracının değiştirilmesine yönelik görüş belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca öğretmenlere verilen eğitimlere yönelik de öğretmenlerin olumsuz görüşe sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Eğitime yönelik en büyük eleştiriler ise branşa ve uygulamaya yönelik olmaması, uzun ve yetersiz olmasıdır. Öğretmenler çoğunlukla çıkarılan yönetmeliğin mesleğe zarar vereceğini düşünmektedir. Öğretmen kariyer basamaklarında hizmet yılının düşürülmesini, kendi alanlarında eğitim verilmesini, öğrenci başarısı ile başarılarının ölçülmesini, lisansüstü eğitim ve hizmet içi eğitim ile kariyerlerinin sağlanmasını, yapılacak sınavın branşa yönelik olmasını tavsiye etmektedirler.

Abstract
The general purpose of this research is to evaluate the views of teachers opinion on Teacher Career System. Using the convenience sampling technique, 40 teachers working in city center of Elazığ formed the sample of the research. A semi-structured interview form was prepared to obtain data. The questions in this form were prepared as a result of literature review and interviews with teachers. Obtained opinions were transferred to the virtual environment and numbers were given. Thus, the views of teachers were analyzed using content analysis. According to the results of the research, it has been determined that the teachers participating in the research have negative opinions about the required years of service and the examination system in order to advance in the career promotion. Teachers expressed their views on reducing the duration of service years and changing the assessment tool. In addition, it has been determined that teachers have negative opinions about the training given to teachers. The biggest criticisms of education are that it is not specific to the branch and application, it is long and insufficient. Teachers mostly think that the issued regulation will harm the profession. Teachers recommend reducing the number of years of service in their careers, providing education in their own fields, measuring student success and achievement, ensuring their careers with graduate education and in-service training, and the examination to be made for the branch.
