Abstract
Bu çalışmada, lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medya bağımlılık düzeylerinin spor alışkanlıkları ve demografik özellikleri açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Yozgat ili Şefaatli ilçesinde öğrenim gören 204 kız ve 196 erkek olmak üzere toplam 400 lise öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama araçları olarak Demografik Bilgi Formu ve Şahin (2018) tarafından geliştirilen Sosyal Medya Bağımlılığı Ölçeği Öğrenci Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada lise öğrencilerinde sosyal medya bağımlılığı ne düzeydedir? ve lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medya bağımlılıkuanları spor alışkanlıkları ve demografik özellikleri açısından farklılaşmakta mıdır? sorularına cevap aranmıştır. Veriler, ekonomik ve pratik olmasından dolayı Google Formlar üzerinden toplanmış ve toplanan veriler IBM SPSS 23.0 programı aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan normallik testinde verilerin normal dağılım gösterdiği görülmüştür. Lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medya bağımlılık düzeyini belirlemek için betimsel istatistik yapılmış, spor alışkanlıkları ve demografik özellikleri için ise bağımsız örneklem t-testi ve tek yönlü ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularında, lise öğrencilerinin sosyal medya bağımlılık düzeylerinin orta düzeyde (x̄=96.81) olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin sosyal medya bağımlılık puanları cinsiyete, günlük sosyal medya kullanım süresine, sosyal medya kullanım amacı, spor yapma sıklığı, okul spor takımlarında görev alma ve spor türü tercihine göre farklılık gösterirken sınıf düzeylerine göre farklılık göstermemiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin bağımlılık riski ile karşı karşıya oldukları, ancak spor ile uğraşan ve sosyal medyayı daha az kullananların bağımlılık puanlarının düşük olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract
This study aimed to examine the social media addiction levels of high school students in terms of their sports habits and demographic characteristics. Survey model was used in the research. The sample of the research consisted of a total of 400 high school students, 204 girls and 196 boys, studying in the Şefaatli district of Yozgat province. Demographic Information Form and Social Media Addiction Scale Student Form developed by Şahin (2018) were used as data collection tools. In the research, what is the level of social media addiction among high school students? Do the social media addiction scores of high school students differ in terms of their sports habits and demographic characteristics? Answers to these questions were sought. The data was collected via Google Forms because it is economical and practical, and the collected data was analyzed through the IBM SPSS 23.0 program. The normality test showed that the data showed a normal distribution. Descriptive statistics were used to determine the social media addiction level of high school students, and independent sample t-test and one way ANOVA tests were used for sports habits and demographic characteristics. In the research findings, it was seen that the social media addiction levels of high school students were at a medium level (x̄=96.81). While students' social media addiction scores differed according to gender, daily social media usage time, purpose of social media use, frequency of doing sports, participation in school sports teams and sport type preference, they did not differ according to grade levels. As a result of the research, it was determined that students were at risk of addiction, but those who were involved in sports and used social media less had low addiction scores.
