Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaokul Fen Bilimleri dersi öğretmenlerinin Covid-19 pandemisi sırasında uzaktan eğitimde yaşananlara ilişkin düşüncelerini derinlemesine incelemektir. Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verilerini toplamak amacıyla öğretmenlere internet aracılığıyla açık uçlu yazılı anket formu gönderilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu farklı okullarda görev yapan 29 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Verilerin analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenler olumlu deneyimlerine örnek olarak eğitim teknolojilerini ve Zoom, EBA gibi eğitim uygulamalarını kullanmayı öğrendiklerini ifade etmişlerdir. Öğretmenler, öğrencilerin derslere katılımının az olması, internet sorunları, öğrencilerin motivasyonlarının düşük olması ve uygulamalı öğretimin zorluğu gibi olumsuz deneyimler yaşadıklarını belirtmişlerdir. Uzaktan eğitim sürecinin verimli olabilmesi için internet sorununun ortadan kaldırılması, öğrencilere fırsat eşitliğinin sağlanması ve uzaktan eğitim süreci ile ilgili öğretmen, veli ve öğrencilere hizmet içi eğitim verilmesi önerilmektedir.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine in depth the opinions of secondary school science teachers about what happened in distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic. In this study, case study design, one of the qualitative research designs, was used. In order to collect research data, an open-ended written questionnaire form was sent to teachers via the Internet. The study group of the research consisted of 29 teachers working in different schools. Content analysis was used in the analysis of the data. As examples of teachers’ positive experiences; they expressed that they learned how to use educational technologies and educational applications such as Zoom and EBA. Teachers stated that they had negative experiences such as low student participation in the classes, the Internet problems, low motivation of students and difficulty of practical teaching. In order for the distance education process to be efficient, it is recommended to eliminate the Internet problem, provide equal opportunities to students and provide in-service training to teachers, parents and students regarding the distance education process.
