Abstract
Çalışmanın amacı 2018-2022 yılları arasında Türkiye’de ortaokul öğrencileri ile yapılan STEM eğitimi araştırmalarını incelemektir. Çalışmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman analizi kullanılmıştır. Farklı veri tabanlarından 165 akademik çalışmanın içeriği incelenmiş; bunlardan 19 akademik makale, 54 yüksek lisans tezi ve 9 doktora tezi olmak üzere toplam 82 çalışma araştırmaya dahil edilmiştir. Verilerin analizi için betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında çalışmalar, STEM-akademik başarı ve STEM-tutum olmak üzere iki ana temaya gruplandırılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, en çok ortaokul STEM araştırmasının 2019 yılında yayınlandığı görülmüştür. Araştırmalarda örneklem/çalışma grubu sayısının çoğunlukla 31-60 aralığında olduğu ve daha çok 7. sınıf öğrencileriyle çalışıldığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırmaya dahil edilen çalışmaların sonuçları, STEM çalışmalarının öğrencilerin kalıcı öğrenmeleri ile birlikte akademik başarılarını olumlu yönde etkilediği ve öğrencilerin fen bilimlerine ilişkin olumlu tutum geliştirmelerini sağladığı yönündedir.

Abstract
The aim of the study is to examine STEM education research conducted with middle school students in Turkey between 2018-2022. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. The content of 165 academic studies from different databases was examined; of these, a total of 82 studies, including 19 academic articles, 54 master's theses and 9 doctoral dissertations, were included in the study. Descriptive analysis technique was used to analyse the data. Studies are given in detail in the form of a table. Studies are grouped into two main themes, STEM-academic achievement and STEM-attitude. As a result of the study, it was seen that the most middle school STEM research was published in 2019. In the studies, it was determined that the number of sample/study groups was mostly in the range of 31-60 and it was mostly studied with 7th grade students. The findings of the studies included in the research are that STEM studies positively affect students' academic achievement along with their permanent learning and enable students to develop positive attitudes towards science.
