Abstract
Bu araştırmada, öğretmenlerin toksik liderlik, örgütsel sessizlik ve motivasyon algıları arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında Erzincan'daki ilkokul, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan öğretmenler arasından uygun örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 232 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri toksik liderlik, örgütsel sessizlik ve motivasyon ölçekleri ile toplanmıştır. Araştırma verileri SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde SPSS paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada parametrik testler kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre, öğretmenlerin toksik liderlik ve örgütsel sessizlik algıları orta düzeyde, motivasyon algıları ise yüksek düzeydedir. Demografik değişkenlere göre ise bu algılar arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamaktadır. Öğretmenlerin toksik liderlik algıları ile örgütsel sessizlik algıları arasında pozitif yönde, toksik liderlik ile motivasyon arasında ise negatif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca, toksik liderliğin çıkarcılık ve bencillik alt boyutları örgütsel sessizlik üzerinde anlamlı bir etkiye sahiptir. Motivasyon algıları üzerinde ise toksik liderliğin sadece çıkarcılık alt boyutu etkilidir.

Abstract
In this study, the relationship between teachers' perceptions of toxic leadership, organisational silence and motivation was examined. Relational survey model was used in the study. The sample of the study consists of 232 teachers selected by convenience sampling method among the teachers working in primary, secondary and high schools in Erzincan in the 2022-2023 academic year. Research data were collected with toxic leadership, organisational silence and motivation scales. The research data were analysed with SPSS software. SPSS package programme was used to analyse the data. Parametric tests were used in the research. According to the results of the study, teachers' perceptions of toxic leadership and organisational silence are at medium level, while their perceptions of motivation are at high level. There is no significant difference between these perceptions according to demographic variables. There is a significant positive relationship between teachers' perceptions of toxic leadership and organisational silence, and a significant negative relationship between toxic leadership and motivation. In addition, manipulation and selfishness sub-dimensions of toxic leadership have a significant effect on organisational silence. On the other hand, only self-interest sub-dimension of toxic leadership has an effect on motivation perceptions.
