OKUL ÖNCESİ EĞİTİM ALANINDA 2020-2023 YILLARI ARASINDA DESTEKLENEN TÜBİTAK 4004 VE 4005 PROJELERİNİN ÇEŞİTLİ DEĞİŞKENLER AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
Bu araştırmada, Türkiye’de 2020-2023 yılları arasında “TÜBİTAK” tarafından “4004 Doğa Eğitimi ve Bilim Okulları Destekleme Programı” ve “4005 Yenilikçi Eğitim Uygulamaları Destekleme Programı” kapsamında desteklenen projelerin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Doküman incelemesi kullanılarak araştırma yürütülmüştür. Verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Alan yazın taranırken araştırmada incelenecek olan projelerin dâhil edilmesinde ölçütler belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen yıllar arasında araştırmanın ölçütlerine uygun olan “TÜBİTAK 4004 Programı” kapsamında 31 proje, “TÜBİTAK 4005 Programı” kapsamında 15 proje olmak üzere toplam 46 proje incelenmiştir. Projeler yıllara, yürütücü kuruluşuna, genel amaçlarına, hedef kitlesine, gerçekleştiği bölgeye, uygulama süresine ve kullanılan öğretim yöntem/ tekniğine göre incelenerek analiz edilmiştir. “TÜBİTAK 4004 ve 4005 Programı” kapsamında incelenen projelerden elde edilen bulgularda; en çok projenin 2022 ve 2021 yıllarında, üniversiteler tarafından hazırlandığı görülmüştür. Hedef kitlenin en çok okul öncesi öğretmenleri olduğu ve uygulama süresi altı ile on gün arasında olan proje sayısının fazla olduğu sonucu elde edilmiştir. Projelerin en fazla Akdeniz ve İç Anadolu bölgelerinde gerçekleştirildiği görülmüştür. 4004 projelerinde en çok çocukların sürdürülebilirlik kavramı, doğayı tanıma ve olumlu tutum geliştirme amaçlarının olduğu; 4005 projelerinde ise okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin yenilikçi yaklaşımları benimsemesi gibi amaçların olduğu görülmüştür. En çok kullanılan yöntem ve tekniklerin gezi, gözlem ve drama olduğu sonucu elde edilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın sonuçları ile yapılacak olan projelere katkı sağlayacağı, öğretmenlere ve akademisyenlere bakış açısı kazandırılacağı düşünülmektedir.

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the projects supported by TÜBİTAK under the “4004 Nature Education and Science Schools Support Program” and “4005 Innovative Education Applications Support Program” in the field of preschool education between 2020 and 2023. Research was conducted using document review. Descriptive analysis was used in the data analysis. Criteria were established to include the projects to be examined during the literature review. A total of 46 projects were analyzed, including 31 projects under the "TÜBİTAK 4004 Program" and 15 projects under the "TÜBİTAK 4005 Program," which met the research criteria between the specified years. The projects were analyzed according to the year, the implementing organization, general objectives, target audience, region where they were implemented, duration of implementation, and the teaching methods/techniques used. The findings from the projects supported under the TÜBİTAK 4004 and 4005 programs show that the majority of the projects were prepared by universities in 2021 and 2022. It was found that the primary target audience was preschool teachers, and the number of projects with a duration of between six to ten days was high. Most of the projects were conducted in the Mediterranean and Central Anatolia regions. In the 4004 projects, the main goals were focused on sustainability concepts, recognizing nature, and developing positive attitudes in children. In the 4005 projects, the primary focus was on adopting innovative approaches by preschool teachers. The most frequently used methods and techniques in these projects were field trips, observation, and drama. The results of this study are expected to contribute to future projects and provide a new perspective for teachers and academics.
