Abstract
- yüzyılda Kaşgarlı Mahmut tarafından Arap alfabesiyle yazılan eserin adının Latin alfabesine transkripsiyonu hususunda Türkologlar arasında birlik bulunmamaktadır. Eser üzerinde çalışan hemen her araştırmacı eserin adını farklı yazmayı tercih etmiştir. Kaşgarlı Mahmut’un, 11. yüzyıl Türkçesinin sesleri hakkında yaptığı açıklamalar ile eserin hedef kitlesinin dili dikkate alınarak doğru bir transkripsiyon yapılabileceği kanısındayız. Bu yazıda, ilgili eserin verdiği bilgilerden ve yazıda kullanılan işaretlerin ses değerlerinden hareketle eserin adı üzerine bir transkripsiyon biçimi önerilmiştir.

Abstract
There is no consensus among Turcologists regarding the transcription of the name of the work written in Arabic alphabet by Kaşgarlı Mahmut in the 11th century into the Latin alphabet. Almost every researcher working on the work preferred to write the name of the work differently. We are of the opinion that an accurate transcription can be made by taking into account the language of the target audience of the work with the statements made by Kaşgarlı Mahmut on the sounds of 11th century Turkish. In this article, a form of transcription is proposed on the title of the work, based on the information provided by the relevant work and the sound values of the signs used in the article.
