      <description>Matthew Parisiensis who was the one of the most important Engilish historian had wrote a book named Chronica Maiora in the middle of XIII. century. This book gives a lot of informations not only England and France or Germany but also outside of the Europa such as the Middle East or Asia. One of the most important part of Chronica Maiora concerned with the record about Mongol invasion. This book has nearly 30 chapter on Mongol matter. Although some of this he didn’t refrain states his point of view, author never loosed his narrative character and present letters which is kept in the St. Alban’s archive as is. In this study we will examine general value of this sources on Mongol History and present it’s record about them.</description>

      <description>Hocazades prepared the ground for rising the scholar families who are a big scholar family and it is based on the Hodja Sadeddin Master whos was a teaher of two Sultans. Many people were from his family who worked in different tasks like Shaykh al-Islam, military service, kadi etc. Their most obvious qualification is being poet and using it in giving fatwas. In Ottoman, most in verse fatwas were given by the member of this family and 12 of  22 in verse fatwas which are at hand belong to this family. In Ottoman, the in verse fatwas were seen in the second half of 16.century and started to decrese increasingly. Namely, when the government and Sultan were at the top, in verse fatwas took its place in that atmosphere. Deriving from the root fetâ in Arabic, fatwas espress solving an ambiguous issue with a very strong response. In Ottoman, Hodja Sadeddin Master who is one of the most primary Shaykh al-Islam, holds the tittle hâce-i şehriyârî and his sons and grandsons maintained this tradition. One of his grandsons Ebû Sa’îd Mehmed Master who followed this way, is a Shaykh al-Islam and gave some in verse fatwas that are literary very strong too. In that article, two in verse fatwas will be intoduced which are fasten down.</description>

      <description>In this study it was aimed that to develop a valid and reliable “Perceptions of Democracy at School Scale” (PDSS) for middle school students (7.grade). For this aim by reviewing literature and taking some expert’s opinions, likert type scale developed consisting 54 items and applied to 276 students. The exploratory factor analysis (EFA) yielded a four-factor model and the goodness of fit indices produced by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) confirmed the fit of the model to the data. Reliability of PDSS also proved by Cronbach’s Alpha analyses, Cronbach’s Alpha values of four factors are between .807 and .736, and scale’s Cronbach’s Alpha value is .872. Thus, it was concluded that  “Perceptions of Democracy at School Scale” (PDSS) is a reliable and valid.</description>

      <description>Due to its geographical position, Syria is on the transit route between Asia, Africa and Europe continents. It has the opportunity of  both sea and road transportations. Because of these features it has been the cradle of many civilizations throughout history and become one of few places having been commercial centers. First in the world production and trade, Syria is one of the regions where the establishment of centers took place, particularly in the eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East which have been close to the Mediterranean ports of neighboring states, including the provision gate open to the world trade.  For the world of international trade, the end of 19. Century and the beginning of the 20. Century, despite all adversities of the period, was the time in which the world’s trade accelerated and evolved. During this period, Syria, with its foreign trade, became an international trade center which consisted of 1/6 of the Ottoman Empire’s total import and export. In this study, Syria's imports and exports, accordingly their impacts on neighboring countries as well as on the region’s economy and the economic situation of port cities in the region were examined. </description>
