SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİRLİK BAĞLAMINDA; SANAT VE DERİ İŞLEME SANATINDA SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR ÜRETİMLER ÜZERİNE YAKLAŞIMLAR

Abstract
Sürdürülebilirlik, sanat dünyası ve endüstriyel üretim alanlarında günümüz dünyasında giderek daha fazla önem kazanan bir kavramdır. Doğal kaynakların tükenmesi, çevresel sorunlar ve sosyal eşitsizlikler gibi zorlu sorunlarla karşı karşıya olduğumuz bir dönemde, sanat dünyası da sürdürülebilirlik ilkesini benimsemek ve bu konuda bir öncü olmak için çaba harcamaktadır. Sürdürülebilir sanat, sanatçıların çalışmalarını olumlu bir çevresel ve toplumsal etki yaratmak amacıyla, sanat eserlerinin ve sanat üretim yöntemlerinin tasarımı ve uygulamalarını içeren, sosyal ve ekonomik faktörleri göz önünde bulunduran bir yaklaşımı ifade eder. Sürdürülebilir sanat, malzeme seçimi, üretim süreci ve eserin kullanımı gibi aşamalarda sürdürülebilirlik ilkelerine bağlı kalır. Geri dönüştürülebilir malzemelerin kullanımı, enerji verimliliği, yerel toplulukların katılımı ve doğal kaynakların korunması gibi konular sürdürülebilir sanatın temel taşlarıdır. Bu makalede; sürdürülebilirlik ve sürdürülebilir sanatın tanımı ve temel ilkeleri, sürdürülebilir sanatın toplumsal ve çevresel etkileri, deri işleme sanatının sürdürülebilirlik açısından zorlukları ve fırsatları, sürdürülebilir deri üretiminde geleneksel ve yenilikçi yaklaşımlar ile sürdürülebilir sanatın ve sürdürülebilir deri işleme sanatının, sürdürülebilirliğin temel ilkeleriyle nasıl uyumlu olduğu verilen örneklemlerle incelenmektedir.

Abstract
Sustainability is a concept that is gaining more and more importance in today's world in the fields of art world and industrial production. At a time when we are facing challenging issues such as the depletion of natural resources, environmental problems and social inequalities, the art world is endeavouring to adopt the principle of sustainability and to be a pioneer in this regard. Sustainable art refers to an approach that takes into account social and economic factors, including the design and implementation of artworks and art production methods, in order to create a positive environmental and social impact. Sustainable art adheres to the principles of sustainability in stages such as material selection, production process and use of the work. Issues such as the use of recyclable materials, energy efficiency, the participation of local communities and the protection of natural resources are the cornerstones of sustainable art. In this article; the definition and basic principles of sustainability and sustainable art, the social and environmental impacts of sustainable art, the challenges and opportunities of leather processing art in terms of sustainability, traditional and innovative approaches in sustainable leather production, and how sustainable art and sustainable leather processing art are compatible with the basic principles of sustainability are examined with examples given.
