ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİNE GÖRE BİLİM SANAT MERKEZLERİNDE (BİLSEM) YAŞANAN SORUNLARIN TEMATİK AÇIDAN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre Bilim ve Sanat Merkezlerinde (BİLSEM) yaşanan sorunları ve bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm önerilerini belirlemektir. Araştırma yöntemi olarak nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2024-2025 eğitim öğretim yılında Mardin ilinde görev yapan 20 Bilim Sanat Merkezi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubu belirlenirken maksimum çeşitlilik örnekleme yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Veriler, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanmış ve içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Görüşme formunun geçerliği için üç eğitim yönetimi uzmanı ile bir ölçme ve değerlendirme uzmanının görüşüne başvurulmuş, form çalışma grubu dışındaki üç öğretmenle pilot olarak uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak, katılımcı görüşlerine göre, eğitim öğretim sorunları, kurumsal sorunlar ve öğrenci kaynaklı sorunlar olmak üzere üç tema oluşturulmuştur. Yapılan değerlendirme sonucunda Bilim Sanat Merkezlerinde eğitim kalitesini artırmak için öğretim programlarının geliştirilmesi, fiziksel ve kurumsal eksikliklerin giderilmesi, öğretmenlerin mesleki gelişim fırsatlarının artırılması ve öğrencilerin bireysel ihtiyaçlarına yönelik daha kapsamlı destek mekanizmalarının oluşturulması önerilmiştir. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin kadrolu istihdam edilmesi ve öğrencilere yönelik oryantasyon çalışmaları yapılması önerilmektedir.

Abstract
The aim of this study is to identify the problems experienced in Science and Art Centers (BİLSEM) based on teachers' perspectives and to propose potential solutions to these issues. A case study design, one of the qualitative research methods, was employed in this research. The study group consists of 20 Science and Art Center teachers working in Mardin during the 2024-2025 academic year. The maximum variation sampling method was used in participant selection. Data were collected through a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher and analyzed using the content analysis method. To establish the validity of the interview form, opinions were obtained from three experts in educational administration and one measurement and evaluation expert, and the form was piloted with three teachers outside the study group. As a result of the analysis, three main themes were identified based on participant responses: educational and instructional issues, institutional challenges, and student-related problems. The findings suggest that improving the quality of education in Science and Art Centers requires curriculum development, addressing physical and institutional deficiencies, enhancing professional development opportunities for teachers, and establishing more comprehensive support mechanisms tailored to students' individual needs. In addition, it is recommended that teachers be employed in permanent staff positions and that orientation programs be organized for newly admitted students.
