Abstract
21. yüzyıl ile birlikte internetin etkisiyle şekillenen dijital platformlar, alternatif kamusal alan olmaktan çıkarak en gözde kamusal alanlar haline gelmektedir ve dijital platformlarda yapılan paylaşımlar, kamusal alanın biçimlendirilmesine katkıda bulunmaktadır. Dijital platformlardan biri olan internet sözlükleri, bireylerin düşüncelerini ifade edebildiği sosyal platformlardır. İnternet sözlüklerinde uluslararası arenadaki önemli olaylara ve ülke gündeminde yer alan önemli olgulara ilişkin paylaşımlar yapılmaktadır. Bu sözlüklerde odaklanılan konu başlıklarından biri Avrupa Birliği’dir. Avrupa Birliği, Türkiye’nin uzun yıllar boyunca içerisinde olmayı arzu ettiği politik bir birliktir. Bu araştırma kapsamında kullanıcıların fikirlerini paylaştıkları dijital platformlardan biri olan Ekşisözlük adlı internet sözlüğünde Avrupa Birliği ile ilgili paylaşımlar içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Bu bağlamda, inceleme kapsamında yer alan dijital platformdaki Avrupa Birliği konusundaki iletiler, paylaşım dili, kelime sayıları, entrylerin içeriği, AB entegrasyon süreçlerine dair görüşler, Türkiye’nin AB üyeliğine dair görüşler ve bilgilendirme amaçlı paylaşımlar olmak üzere altı temel kategoride analiz edilmiştir. Ekşi Sözlük platformunda Avrupa Birliği ile ilgili en çok konuşulan konuların politik meseleler, ekonomi ve güvenlik olduğu tespit edilmiştir ve AB entegrasyon süreçlerine dair olumsuz görüşlerin daha fazla iken Türkiye’nin AB üyelik sürecine olumlu görüşlerin daha fazla olduğu saptanmıştır.

Abstract
With the advent of the twenty-first century, digital platforms shaped by the influence of the internet have evolved from being alternative public spheres to becoming the most prominent public spheres and the content shared on these digital platforms contributes to the shaping of the public sphere. One of the digital platforms, collaborative hypertext dictionaries, are social platforms where individuals can express their thoughts. On these platforms, users share content related to significant events in the international arena and important phenomena on the country’s agenda. One of the key topics discussed on these platforms is the European Union. The European Union is a political union that Türkiye has long wanted to be a member of. Within the scope of this research, posts related to the European Union on a collaborative hypertext dictionary named Ekşi Sözlük, one of the digital platforms where users share their opinions, have been examined through content analysis. In this context, the posts about the European Union on this digital platform were analysed under six main categories: the language used in the posts, word count, content of the entry, opinions on EU integration processes, views on Türkiye’s EU membership, and posts intended to provide information. It has been determined that the most frequently discussed topics related to the European Union on the Ekşi Sözlük platform are political issues, economy, and security. It has also been found out that while there are more negative opinions regarding EU integration processes, there are more positive views on Türkiye’s EU membership process.
