Abstract
Bu çalışmada, Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivinde bulunan Sicill-i Ahvâl Defterlerinde ve İstanbul Müftülüğü bünyesinde faaliyet gösteren Meşihat Arşivindeki sicil dosyalarında kayıtlı olan yedi tane Midyatlı memur tespit edilerek incelendi. Tespit edilen Midyatlı memurların 1844-1882 yılları arasında doğdukları verisine ulaşıldı. Çalışmada evvela, memurların özgeçmişlerinin kayıt altına alınması yönünde yaşanan bürokratik gelişmeler ile sicil dosyalarının hazırlanması esnasında dikkat edilmesi gereken bazı hususları içeren sicill-i ahvâl nizamnâmesinden bahsedilmiştir. Ardından, tespit edilen Midyat doğumlu memurların aile hayatları ve unvanları (şöhretleri), eğitim durumları, bildikleri lisanlar, diploma alıp almadıkları, memuriyete başlama yaşları, görev yerleri ve yapmış oldukları görevlere dair malûmat verilmiştir.

Abstract
In this study, seven Midyat civil servant were determined in the registration circumstances books in the Ottoman Archives of the Prime Ministry and in the registry files of the Meşihat Archives operating in the İstanbul Mufti. The data of the Midyat officers who were born between 1844 and 1882 were reached. At the beginning of the study, the bureaucratic developments in the way of registering the resumes of civil servants and some of the points that should be paid attention during the preparation of the registry files are mentioned. Subsequently, information about the family life and titles (fames) of the Midyat born officers, their education status, their language of consent, their diplomas, age at the beginning of the civil service, their place of duty and their duties were given.
