Abstract
Bu çalışma ile uygulamada olan Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Öğretim Programı’nın özel amaçlarının programın içeriği odağında geçekleşebilirliğinin sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinin görüşlerine göre değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden olan durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını, Bartın ilinde devlet okullarında çalışan sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerinden basit seçkisiz yönteme göre belirlenmiş farklı kıdem yılına sahip 38 sosyal bilgiler öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Öğretim Programı’nda yer alan özel amaçlar odağında hazırlanan 18 soruluk bir değerlendirme formu, öğretmenlerin demografik bilgilerini elde etmek amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 4 soruluk kişisel bilgi formu ve öğretmen görüşlerinin alındığı 5 soruluk bir görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada toplanan veriler analiz edilirken tematik ve betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada ulaşılan bulgular değerlendirildiğinde araştırma grubunda yer alan öğretmenlerin 2018 Sosyal Bilgiler Dersi Öğretim Programı’nın amaçlarının programın içeriğinin, programın amaçlarını gerçekleştirmek için uygun olduğuna inanmaktadır. Ayrıca, öğretmenlerin velilerden pek çok konuda bir beklenti içinde olduklarını göstermiştir. Buna göre veliler özellikle çocuklarına iyi örnek olmaları, onlara gereken ilgiyi göstermeleri, okulda öğrenilenlerin gerçek hayata aktarılması için öğrencilere yardımcı olmaları, okulla ve öğretmen ile iş birliği yapmaları, milli değerlerin aktarılması için daha fazla sorumluluk almaları ve sosyal bilgilerin önemli bir ders olduğunu düşünmeleri gerektiği gibi sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the realizability of specific purposes of the social studies curriculum in the scope of the program content. Social studies teachers’ views are taken into consideration about the realizability of the program and the evaluation process is based on these views. The case study design is used in the study, which is based on the qualitative research method. The study group of the research includes 38 social studies teachers working in public schools in Bartın. An evaluation form, including 18 questions prepared for evaluating specific goals in the 2018 social studies curriculum, is used in the research. In addition to this, a personal information form, including 4 questions, is developed by the researchers, and used for collecting the demographic information of teachers. Interview form including 5 questions to determine the teacher opinions about the purposes of social studies class is also conducted. Descriptive analysis and thematic analysis techniques are used to analyze the data obtained from the research. When the findings obtained from the study are analyzed, it is determined that teachers in the research group believe that the 2018 social studies education program is proper for the realization of the goals. According to the findings, social studies teachers believe that parents should set good examples for their children, show them the interest they need, support, and help their children relate the knowledge they obtained at school with daily life, be in cooperation with teachers and school, take more responsibility to teach national values and should see social studies as an important lesson.
